04Why does the site not list an address or phone number?
Because it is a referral service, not a storefront, and publishing a business address, phone, rating or review for an entity that does not perform the work would be misleading. Contact is a form, which is also how privacy and correction requests reach us.
05Who actually does the work I get referred to?
Independent contractors who operate in your area and suit your project. They are separate businesses, responsible for their own quotes, contracts, insurance and results. Any agreement for work is between you and the contractor you choose.
06What do you charge landowners?
Submitting a request and using the site costs nothing. The site is a planning and routing resource; the cost of the work itself is set by the contractor you engage after a site review.
07How is the regulatory information kept accurate?
Every figure is read from the state agency or the statute and dated with the day it was checked (currently 2026-09-01), and cited so you can verify it yourself. Where a rule is local or actively changing, the site says "ask this office" rather than quoting a number that might be wrong for your parcel.
08Can you guarantee my project is feasible or permitted?
No. Feasibility depends on a site review, and permitting depends on the authorities named on each page. The site helps you ask the right questions and reach a contractor; it does not make determinations that only an agency or a site visit can make.
09What happens after I submit a request?
It is stored securely, read, and routed to one or more contractors who may be able to help. Submitting does not create a contract or guarantee a response or feasibility. You will hear back at the email address you provide.

It is the brand of the referral and information service; the operating legal entity is AIXIS LLC, a Vermont company, named on the legal pages. The brand identifies the service; the entity is who stands behind the site.
11How is my information handled?
It is used to act on your request and, with that aim, shared with independent contractors who may help, plus our hosting provider Cloudflare. It is never sold and never used for advertising. The privacy policy states exactly what is collected and who sees it.
12How do I reach a person?
Use the contact form for a question, a privacy request or a correction, or the site assessment request to have a project looked at. Both reach the team directly; the site does not publish an email address to be harvested.
