Green Mountain Landworks is a referral and information service operated by AIXIS LLC, a Vermont limited liability company. This policy explains exactly what the site collects, why, and who it is shared with. It describes what the site actually does — not a generic template — and it is short because the site does little with your data.
Who runs this site
Green Mountain Landworks is operated by AIXIS LLC, a Vermont limited liability company ("we," "us"). We connect landowners with independent land-clearing and forestry-mulching contractors. We are not the contractor and we do not perform clearing work ourselves. Last updated 2026-09-01.
What we collect, and when
We collect information only when you choose to send it through the site assessment request form. That is:
- Your name and email address.
- The property address or map location you are asking about.
- Optional details you provide: approximate acreage, property type, project goals, and notes about vegetation, terrain and access.
When you submit that form, our host also records a one-way hashed fingerprint derived from your IP address. We use it only to limit automated abuse of the form. It is not the IP address itself and cannot be turned back into one.
What we do not collect
- No cookies. This site sets no cookies of any kind.
- No tracking. There are no third-party analytics, advertising, or social-media trackers on this site.
- No stored calculator data. The cost calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you enter stay in the page, appear in the shareable link only if you choose to copy it, and are never sent to us.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the site is not directed to them.
How we use what you send
We use the information from a request only to review it, prepare an initial response, and — with the aim of getting your project looked at — share it with one or more independent contractors who may be able to help. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who it is shared with
- Independent contractors. To act on your request we may pass your project details to one or more independent clearing or forestry contractors. They are separate businesses responsible for their own handling of your information.
- Our hosting and infrastructure provider, Cloudflare, which stores the submission and, where enabled, provides the bot-protection challenge on the form. Cloudflare processes this data on our behalf.
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or the integrity of the service.
That is the complete list. Your information is not shared with anyone else.
How long we keep it
We keep request submissions for as long as needed to act on the request and for a reasonable period afterward for our records, then delete them. Rate-limit fingerprints are pruned automatically after a short window.
Your choices
You can ask us what request information of yours we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by using the contact form. Because we never publish an email address on this site, that form is the way to reach us for any privacy request.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS with a strict content-security policy and standard security headers. Form submissions are transmitted over an encrypted connection. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we do not collect sensitive categories of data through this site.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
